Who we are
COYOTE POOLS was founded by Malia Scott, West Texas native, small business entrepreneur, Individual/Couples - Relationship/Sex Therapist, nature/outdoor enthusiast and water lover!
COYOTE POOLS was conceived when our founder got a "bee in her bonnet" and saw a need for an affordable, backyard "watering hole" to survive the hot, dry West Texas summers and also a way to keep it steamy during the cold, dry West Texas winters. When Malia relocated back home to Lubbock, TX, she saw an opportunity for many homes and families that aren't in the market to spend $75k-$150K on an in-ground pool, but also desired beyond the standard INTEX above-ground pool, or an inflatable above-ground pool. Plus, stock tank pools can be heated for YEAR-ROUND USE! They can also be used as a cold plunge. She thought West Texas, NM and CO needed a taste of some stock tank pool-love, so she created COYOTE POOLS.
As a Relationship/Sex Therapist, she sits with individuals and couples through some challenging times and transitions. She noticed a recurring theme post-pandemic in that humans are still feeling disconnected and lonely. COYOTE POOLS offers a solution to this issue -- A lifestyle stock tank pool and home/garden company with a MISSION to help bring friends, families, couples and people together in community and connection to create and enjoy your backyard oasis!
Ranch-style chic, sexy and innovative, COYOTE POOLS are plug and play galvanized and poly stock tank pools that aim to keep it simple and beautiful. ALL YOU NEED is 6'-10' of yard space, a level foundation, and access to water and electricity.
